The talent of Madison Craft Studio

If you want to see some real crafty talent, check out Madison Craft Studio on Etsy. It is a mother/daughter enterprise out of Wisconsin and they can do some amazing things with tiny pieces of art.

They work with many different artists and lovely, fancy Japanese papers. They take little slips of this artwork and turn them into amazingly lovely pendants. That's magic, boys and girls. Here are some of the lovelies they have made with marbled paper from my shop:

So, check them out. They have a tremendous selection of different sizes and shapes of pendants.

07-07-07

Did you know that it is 07-07-07 today? I think that's neat, don't you?

That is all.

Man, I miss my camera.

MOO

Guess what came in the mail today? All the way from the UK (wait for it)...my moo cards! Hooray for moo. Of course, I don't have any pictures, what with my camera in an very exotic locale. Without me. So you'll just have to guess what they look like. Or you can go to the Ben & Jerry's on Union Street and take one off the bulletin board. I tacked 3 of them up there along with an etsy flier that I printed from Etsy. I would have left more, but these are thick little cards of excellent quality. And the tack would only go through three of them.

Ben & Jerry's has a community bulletin board, like many local businesses. There seems to be a lot of support for home-grown businesses in this area. I have noticed these bulletin boards in many of the local coffee shops. And there are a LOT of coffee shops here. There are also community bulletin boards at the local Panera, Whole Foods and Starbucks. I will have fun peppering the city with Etsy fliers and moo cards.

Camera Hiatus = Old Pictures

Since I don't have my camera, I'll post an old picture.

I hate these couches. What was I thinking? I am not a roll-arm kind of girl. Nor do I dig their "overstuffed" look. They are...let's see...almost 6 years old. I'm thinking we need to shop for new. Yes, this is still a craft blog...looky at the Marimekko fabric that I stapled over some canvas stretchers. Now, I just need to hot-glue some chocolate brown velvet ribbon on the edges to hide the staples. Someday, I'll get to that.
